The paper contains doctrinal issues, including temperance and anti-slavery; reports of abolition efforts by Freewill Baptists and others; reports from Freewill Baptist missionaries in India; national and international news; letters; editorials; and a variety of other biographical and historical information, including occasional references to Free Will Baptists in the South.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 1911 issues, available below, were the final issues before the paper was absorbed into <i>The Watchman <\/i>of the Northern Baptists, with whom the Free Will (or Free) Baptists of the North were merging.
